Fall Ordeal Weekend falls on August 13-15, 2010.We anticipate a big turn out.The Registration Deadline is August 6th.Encourage parents for any candidates from your Troop to sign up their son early.We need time to buy the food and make other arrangements.The ceremonies and activities are over by 9:30PM on Saturday evening and scouts can leave then, however they are welcome to stay over for the Vigil Callout Ceremony that will be held at 9:00AM in the Kiva.If the New Members wish to remain until Sunday, departure can be anytime before 10:30AM.All Scouts should be out of camp by 10:30AM.Go to http://www.pikespeakbsa.org, select the Calendar option and go to AUGUST 13, 2010.Select “Click Here to Register for this Event”.There is a “COMMENTS” block to provide and special information.You can still pay in person at the council office or by mail using a check if you prefer that option.USE FULL NAME and put BSA ID in Comments Field to insure proper credit.After you complete the registration you will receive by return email a medical form to complete and bring to the weekend.Sign up today and help us get organized early since many Lodge Officers and Advisers will be away at the Jamboree just before the weekend.Elangomats are needed for the Fall Weekend.Sign up today and get trained before you arrive.

Lodge Officer Elections.All youth members attending the Fall Fellowship will hold elections for youth officers to run the lodge for 2010/2011.All youth who are interested in running for office must first meet with Mitchell Hoff and Mike Caruthers, prior to the elections that will be held on Saturday afternoon.All candidates will be expected to give a short campaign speech during the election.The new youth officers will meet to decide the Vice Chief assignments.
ONE Year Candidate Eligibility.All leaders are reminded that their OA Candidates have 1 year eligibility from the date of the ELECTION not the CALLOUT.Any candidate who does not complete their Ordeal prior to the 1 year anniversary of their election, must be re-elected the following year and must again meet the eligibility requirements including the camping nights.Adults have 1 year from the date their application is approved by the Lodge Selection Committee.
